My site, admittedly, has a lot of pop-ups.  It's free, what do you expect?  Since everyone hate pop-ups, you should always use the most badass browser ever, Opera (which has a built-in pop-up blocker).  You can also use Internet Exploiter with Google Toolbar 2.0 (which is a nifty search tool and pop-up blocker combo).
